We are committed to the historic/orthodox Christianity as found in the apostles Creed.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
Doctrinal Distinctives
Crown Institute of Theology has doctrinal distinctives centered around the Kingdom of God and the New Covenant.
1. We embrace the present reign of God’s Kingdom, inaugurated by the birth, death and resurrection of Christ. The Kingdom of God will increase over generations until the Day of Resurrection when the final enemy, death, will be defeated.
2. We embrace the New Covenant provided by the death of Jesus which governs our relationship with God. We teach a covenant understanding of the Bible not a dispensational one.
3. We embrace that every born-again believer is in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit at salvation and should be filled with the Holy Spirit which is separate from salvation. The Spirit gives gifts to the church which should be exercised for the maturity of the Church and the Glory to God.
